Sherman Carter Barnhart Architects has worked with the NAI Fortis Group since 2002 on the design of numerous warehouses within the Louisville Industrial Center. Tilt-up concrete warehouses, Building E & 5 are the latest facility within the industrial park. They are preceded by:
Working closely with DuPont, Sherman Carter Barnhart provided architectural and structural engineering design services for the new 338,550 SF warehouse which will also include 9,000 SF of offices and labs.
Built in two phases, phase one, Building E, replaced the existing building 8 and is approximately 165,750 SF. Phase two included the renovation of existing building 5, which is approximately 172,800 SF. The renovation included both the interior and the exterior and it features 7,000 SF of finished office space.
With their experience of working with multiple funding sources and familiarity in navigating federal programs, Sherman Carter Barnhart Architects is working with Dawson Springs to deliver a modern, affordable housing community with market-rate amenities.
