Gabriella started at Sherman Carter Barnhart as a student intern in February of 2021. Since joining the firm, she has been part of the K-12 technical team. In December 2021, she graduated from the University of Kentucky College of Design with her Bachelor of Arts in Architecture. She will return to UK in August 2022 to pursue her Master of Architecture and plans to become a registered architect as soon as she is able. Gabriella is from Louisville and attended high school in old Louisville (duPont Manual High School), where she spent her time drawing Victorian homes in art classes. Observing the fast-changing city from her art studio classes, she quickly realized that architecture was the career that she wanted to pursue.
In her free time, you can find Gabriella hiking at Red River Gorge and going on outdoor adventures with her friends as well as exploring the city of Lexington as much as possible. She enjoys spending time with her dog, Finley, and training him to go hiking with her during the summer. She also enjoys yoga and going to the gym.
