Rick has been with Sherman Carter Barnhart for over 25 years. What he enjoys most about his job is putting all the pieces and parts of a building together. He likes to get involved at the programming and schematic design phases and follow the project on through. Rick has worked on a variety of projects over the years, including schools, public housing, student residence halls, judicial centers and fire stations. He is currently keeping very busy working on multi-family housing projects.
When not at work, Rick enjoys traveling with his wife, Kerri, and spending time with his three daughters and granddaughter. Recent trips have included Ireland and several destinations throughout the U.S. He also has been spending time designing and building an O scale train layout that includes a section of a layout that has been assembled since the 1950’s and running the post-war train. Furthermore, he can be found doing woodworking, auto mechanics, and other projects around his house.
