University of Kentucky engages Sherman Carter Barnhart Architects with SmithGroup to transform White Hall Classroom Building, an iconic campus site.
Erikson Alumni Center & Foundation Hall Rotunda
Erikson Alumni Center & Foundation Hall, features the Erickson Alumni Center on the first floor, with development and Foundation offices on the second and third floors. This new facility offers state of the art technologies as well as a versatile conference center and lounge space for meetings.
The grandeur of the Foundation Hall rotunda showcases Marshall University memorabilia and history and also serves as pre-function space for the Conference Center.
The versatility of the 3,398 SF Conference Center makes it perfect to host large and small events. Three-story arched windows encircle the space creating exquisite beauty, while the grand entrance and pre-function areas on both the first and second floors add flexibility to the overall space. Equipped with state-of-the-art technology, including two mounted flat screens and a descending projection screen, this space is fully functional for your business meetings and conferences. This versatile room can also be divided into two separate spaces.
The Nate Ruffin Alumni Lounge, a pub-like atmosphere features Marshall Sports decor, and includes a small kitchenette, bar, and flat screens. This lounge, offers a more casual place to gather when visiting on campus, as well as a space to host small gatherings, and informal meetings. It is also space to encourage alumni to gather to watch football and basketball and other away sporting events.
The state-of-the-art Call Center and business processing center provide support to the University’s numerous Alumni clubs across the nation and Marshall Link fundraising program.
The alumni center is completely self-sufficient, and features numerous green strategies and materials to lower energy and operation costs, while supporting Marshall University’s quest to be more environmentally sustainable.
