IMPACT Center Recognized as a 2026 Learning By Design Outstanding Project

Sherman Carter Barnhart Architects’ IMPACT Center for Leadership and Innovation in Bowling Green, Kentucky, has been recognized as a 2026 Learning By Design Outstanding Project. The award celebrates the facility’s innovative approach to career and technical education, flexible learning environments, industry collaboration, and sustainability, creating opportunities for students in grades 7–12 to develop leadership skills and prepare for future careers.

Jennifer Cash joined Sherman Carter Barnhart Architects in 2006 and has built a nationally respected reputation focused on high-performance, resilient learning environments for K–12 clients. She is widely recognized for her expertise in Insulated Concrete Form (ICF) construction and for guiding school districts through complex decisions related to durability, energy performance, life-cycle cost, and disaster resiliency. Known for her ability to translate technical rigor into clear, actionable solutions, Jennifer partners closely with boards, administrators, and communities to align educational goals, sustainability objectives, and budget realities.
