Darrell, a native of Lexington, holds a Bachelor of Science in Landscape Architecture from the University of Kentucky. With over 30 years of experience as both a construction administrator and landscape architect, Darrell brings a wealth of knowledge to his role. He served as the Director of the firm’s site division for 15 years and is currently a construction administrator. His passion for construction stems from his early involvement in his father’s construction company before earning his BSLA.
Darrell thrives in the field, collaborating with contractors and construction managers, and advocating for our clients. His extensive experience allows him to identify and address potential issues proactively, ensuring that critical items are managed efficiently. Darrell understands the importance of timely responses to questions and clarifications during construction to keep projects on schedule. He has worked with both general contractors and construction managers, always prioritizing the client’s best interests.
Outside the office, Darrell enjoys remodeling projects for friends and family. He recently built his new home, where he personally completed much of the work. Darrell loves cooking and has treated the staff to his culinary creations on several occasions. His greatest joy is spending time with his wife and two daughters.
