Lexington, KY: Sherman Carter Barnhart Architects, a leading regional architecture firm with offices in Lexington, Louisville and Paducah, announced today the promotion of Allison Commings, AIA, CID, LEED AP, to Associate Principal in the firm.
“Allison’s work ethic, integrity, and professionalism continue to define her career with the firm through her roles as a project manager and in support of the firm’s marketing efforts in the K-12 Education Studio,” said Mike Smith, Sherman Carter Barnhart’s president. “She personifies strength and determination as she leads firm advocacy efforts for the advancement and support of women and minorities in leadership roles. Commings has been with Sherman Carter Barnhart since 2007 and has worked as a project manager in SCB’s Education Studio. Her projects have included higher education, as well as public and private K-12 projects throughout Kentucky.
Commings’ promotion takes effect immediately.
