The design is classical in style. The use of brick and stone with classical stone columns at the courtrooms and the entry provide a strong architectural connection complementing the Georgian style of the Hourigan County Office Building.

Allen County Judicial Center features an octagonal cupola incorporating four illuminated clocks and an open belfry featuring the original bell from the old courthouse.
